Dean is the Director of Compliant Fire Doors Limited, founded in July 2023, specialising in fire door installations and remedial works, ensuring compliance with the latest fire safety regulations. CFD operates across residential and commercial sectors, offering a full range of services, including meter cupboard fireproofing.
Additionally, Dean is the founder and Director of D&M Estates Limited, a privately owned property investment company established in 1998. Their diverse portfolio spans residential and commercial properties, including multiple freehold assets. Following the introduction of the new fire door regulations in January 2023, Dean launched Compliant Fire Doors Limited to ensure D&M’s properties and those of their clients to fully comply with the latest fire safety standards.
With over 25 years of experience in property investment and management, Dean is committed to maintaining the highest standards of fire safety, compliance, and asset protection.

Outside the professional realm, much like us all, Gerry finds joy in holidays, active participation in gym classes, and a passion for big trucks, which showcases his appreciation for powerful engineering.

Dan began his career as a professional rugby player, representing Saracens, Southend and Cambridge with dedication and skill. He has also represented England Under 18’s Rugby, as well as the Swedish National Rugby Team. Following his rugby career, he started as an apprentice, earning an NVQ in carpentry, which laid the foundation for his future in construction.
After four years in the trade, Dan co-founded New Lofts, specialising in loft conversions and extensions. His expertise and leadership quickly propelled him to the role of Director, overseeing the company’s growth and reputation for quality craftsmanship. Seeking to expand further, he partnered with Dean to venture into the fire safety sector, broadening their business reach and impact.
Outside of work, Dan stays connected to his sporting roots by coaching rugby at Southend Rugby Club and his son’s football team. When he’s not on the field, he enjoys a round of golf and spending quality time with his family and his loyal dog, Huxley.

From the age of 16, Andy has been immersed in the building trade, starting as an apprentice and gaining experience across multiple companies throughout East Essex. His dedication and expertise led him to run his own company before joining forces with Dan to establish New Lofts, specialising in loft conversions and extensions. Looking to expand their business, Andy and Dan later partnered with Dean to venture into fire door safety, further strengthening their industry presence.
An avid sportsman, Andy has a deep passion for rugby, playing for Westcliff, as well as enjoying squash and golf. When he’s not working or on the field, he loves spending time outdoors with his family and grandkids, making the most of every moment.

Daisy has been with the company from the very beginning and has been essential to the company’s expansion and journey to date. Prior to managing all the day-to-day operations of Expyro, Daisy worked within Customers and Operations for a well-being Vitamin Company in London.
Her experience is in the field of Adult Social Care, she has worked in over 6 different countries between 2012-2017 and obtained her Degree in clinical psychiatry in 2020. In her working life, having found herself established in Fire Safety, and alongside Daisy’s experience in her previous sectors, it is clear she has a drive for the safety and wellness of others.
Outside of work, Daisy travelled the world between the years 2012-2017 and now enjoys the gym, whisky and tacos!

Having worked as a Block Manager for 16 years, Annette has a wealth of experience in Fire and Health and Safety Regulations and the day-to-day management of residential buildings.
As an integral part of the team, Annette can offer her insight, knowledge and experience when talking to customers, clients and putting together estimates for projects.
She is always a friendly face in the office and always happy to help and answer questions. Annette has lived locally in Leigh-On-Sea for ten years and enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her daughter.
