We received excellent service from Compliant Fire Doors from start to finish. Following their initial quotation, they carried out a free site survey and inspected all fire doors. Based on their visual assessment, the quote was revised down—demonstrating both transparency and integrity. The remedial works were promptly scheduled and completed within a week, minimising disruption to residents. Despite the logistical challenges of limited parking at a central London block, their technicians went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed smoothly and efficiently. One involved a light fitting that had been wired into a door; Compliant Fire Doors arranged for their electrician to attend and disconnect the light at no additional cost so the work could proceed. The second was a faulty digilock on a cupboard door, which their team resolved on-site, refitting the door and leaving it latched so we could later set the required code. The works were completed to a very high standard, and we were especially reassured by the inclusion of re-certification by their fire inspector as part of the quoted service. We were first made aware of the new regulations by our management agent (the Responsible Person) when we were sent a report on doors in our estate that had failed their fire safety checks. CFD were recommended to us by Purco Fire Safety who completed the surveys as a competent provider for the remedial work we required. They have now completed remedial work on 25 doors and 5 Electrical cabinets, all work was completed to a very high standard and importantly all passed their recertification by Purco Fire Safety team. What we particularly liked about the service was that we didn’t need to arrange the normal 2 or 4 site accesses with our tenants, it was one simple visit to get work completed and recertified. We now have a fully certified and compliant estate which meets our fire regulation commitments and we would recommend CFD to anyone who needs help with this new regulation.
